Raechel Amber Toring L.Ac., M.T.O.M.
Raechel is a California Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emperor's College in Santa Monica with a Master’s in Traditional Oriental Medicine.
Her interest in traditional medicine began from personal experience as a patient and grew with studies of the natural world. As an UCSC graduate with a Bachelors in Environmental Science her experience and knowledge of phenomenon in nature helped form a lens in which to view the human body through to explain many of the physical ailments suffered today. These parallels have been observed in ancient medicines throughout the world and are still true today despite how modern life often paints humans as disconnected from their environment and the cycles of life.
Clinical experience includes treating patients at the Roy and Patricia Disney Cancer Center at Providence Saint Joseph Hospital in Burbank, the Venice Family Clinic Simms-Mann Health and Wellness Center in West Los Angeles and at Atwater Acupuncture as a general practitioner. As a holistic practitioner Raechel integrates Acupuncture, bodywork, herbal therapies and nutrition to address the underlying cause of illness, not just treating the symptoms.
Clinical interests include pain management and injury recovery, digestive disorders, stress reduction, dysfunction of the immune system, fibromyalgia and women’s health, personalized herbal therapy and nutritional counseling.
Currently Raechel is living and practicing in Atwater Village and continues her studies under Dr. Benny Lin, an orthopedic specialist, at his practice in West Los Angeles.
